Syd Barrett is the unruly legend that co-founded the iconic rock band Pink Floyd in 1965. Being the frontman and primary songwriter of one of the most famous British psychedelic groups, Barrett was famous for his stream of consciousness free-form performances and the use of abstract and imaginative lyrical styles. But this genius came from a dark place of a disturbed mind that could not attain relief until it was too late. After his death, his family including his brother Alan Barrett have come forward with confessions fans have long denied to give insight into the mind of the madman of music, his life and the days following up to his death.

Syd was not a fool or loser. He formed a band that had a hit single and a hit LP when he was 22: that ARE still admired, influential and on many top critics lists. Plus millions of fans to ths day, 57 years later. Not bad for a 'fool.' Eh, YouTuber whiner.
