When Franziska was diagnosed with a rare disease, it knocked her confidence for challenging mountaineering ascents like the Breithorn Traverse. Learning to live with her new normal also meant getting over self-doubt, fear and learning to believe in herself again.
Now, with the help of an all-woman rope team, she embarks on a mission to rekindle her confidence in the high mountains and experience the legendary Breithorn Traverse. Witness the unbreakable bond of friendship and the unyielding spirit of these extraordinary women as they face adversity head-on.
This project and adventure was planned by Franziska and her friends, and supported by adidas TERREX’s United by Summits initiative.

Society has told women not to climb mountains? What about Elizabeth Hawkins-Whitshed, who has climbed the Bishorn first? Apparently it was, even back then, possible for women to climb mountains, if wanted. Furthermore, what about Tamara Lunger or Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner. They are in the mountains since ages... Therefore it is incorrect to claim, that society has told women not to climb mountains. ... I think, even in 50 years there will be more men than women in the mountains, due to the obviously different nature of men and women. ... Adidas, you lost me as a customer.
