Day 4 A Video A Day ~ 4 August 2023: Night Sounds Where I Live

This is day 4 of my 31 Days Of Video Uploads here on YouTube. Some videos won't be from the day on which I upload them, but I'll try to do this as much as possible.

This video was done to try to capture a certain creature's vocalisations, which I did successfully. I'm not sure what they are. I first heard them when I was on the deck at my house, but I couldn't capture the sounds there on voice recorder or video at all.

So I wandered down behind the big house, in which the owners live, and was able to capture the voices of whatever was making these noises.

If I had to describe them, I'd say they're a combination of ducks and frogs, although I'm inclined to think they might be frogs. I just don't know, though.

They moved through the marsh of the Miami River and towards the place where I was finally able to record them.

There's a light on a lamppost that's always on all night. So that allows you to see my shadow a couple of times.

Please forgive the sounds of the camera being moved and all that.
