This was a ton of work to get all of this done! But it turned out incredible!

Jason at Reaper Restorations was key in this process. Make sure to go check out this video of him doing work on my hubs:    • 1ST GEN. CUMMINS BRAKE MODIFICATIONS ...

Holy shit this is amazing, now I feel like shit any time I do anything to my truck lol

I use the Eaatwood products on my trucks, and I really like them. Helps that they're headquartered just down state from me here in PA.

This is the kind of detail to work I like seeing. This truck's going to be really well dialed in when it's finished and it's going to be a fully usable daily rig. Everyone thinks this kind of work is reserved for "show trucks," but it's not.
  • Nice work. The Torq big brake setup adds track width to the front with the rotor outside on the hub vs inside with stock setup. Sure makes brake work easier, inboard brakes are a pain. What rear axle did you use? 2nd gen SRW axle is around 4" wider, WMS to WMS, than 1st gen unless you get one from a cab & chassis then they're about the same as first gen. Curious to see what you're doing with wheels and tires. Can't wait for the next episode!
  • Keep the videos coming Tim. It always amazes me how much use to you make from your garage.

Hey Tim I remember meeting you at the dyno event for Randy’s transmission! Quick question… would you be willing to make a video going over an intercooler swap for the earlier non intercooled 12v but be able to retain the 81-90 grill ? Btw awesome vid!
  • The second you said you had seals you didnt want to replace after sand blasting i knew exactly what would happen. We all live and learn lol
  • Great work! The truck is starting to come together. I'm looking forward to the next video with the Holden Brothers.
  • Hey Tim, do you have a link for those green scuff discs you used to clean off old gasket material?
  • Great video Tim, are you going to upgrade the master cylinder using the next gen dodge braking system, for better braking as well?
  • @rekazu
Great work but shaving that knurling down on the lug studs is no bueno. Dorman catalog would’ve provided the proper knurling diameter studs for your application. Been there done that when I converted my studs.
