Props to that guy who drove his suv over the median
  • That jeep was just looking for an excuse to go off-roading wherever he could

It’s a good thing people in your area actually know how to pull over, where I live nobody even pays attention to when there’s a emergency vehicle behind them

"This guy is telling me to go around him." Lol. Best driver ever.

At 1:00 you can hear one of the firefighters say "False alarm." Good to continue on, though, until it's confirmed to be an actual false.
  • Nice to see at 2:33 the driver jumped the curb to get out of the way! Heck with tires etc. somebody could be dyeing or house is on fire, screw the car. Get out of the way!

Love seeing NC drivers move over. When I was with Western Wake (formally Fairgrounds Vol FD) you could always count on drivers to get out of the way. Here in Detroit you have to push them out of the way, if they even see you.

I’m from the U.K. and I was in a huge fire a while ago and 2 fire trucks got there in 3 mins all fire truck drivers are epic drivers

Wish we had the California motorists pull over and STOP like 99% of the drivers did here in this video. Our calls are tense with the distracted drivers and ones who simply do not follow the rules of the road. Great color and clarity on your video here. Nice job guys.

Great video. You got a really good camera, your truck has amazing sounds. Super glad you got to your call safely.

See, this is why Pierce is the largest fire apparatus manufacturer in the world: Since Mack and their iconic bulldog left the market, nobody offers a hood ornament. Thus, Pierce steps in to fill that void with the yellow rubber ducky. I mean, that little critter just screams "tenacity", amiright? Definitely need to discuss with our Pierce rep about including that option when my department specs our next rig.

Around 1:35 I realized I live right down the street from you guys. :D
