Drawing in perspective is pretty easy to pick up and an essential skill that we will be building on in future lessons. It helps with drawing backgrounds. it helps with drawing characters and objects in a scene. Today we're going to make it easy with some lessons and tutorials.

Finally!!! All other art videos ive seen only say “you need perspective” “perspective is one the most important” but never tell you what perspective is or how you use it

  • I am not a beginner artist and even i learnt so much from this lecture/tutorial. You're the best Brad. Keep up the good work.
  • I am witnessing the creation of the most helpful and coolest how to draw series on YouTube. Brad is Legendary.
  • I have been kind of avoiding perspective for a while now and this video has made it seem way more approachable. It really put things in perspective.

4:31 "It's gonna look sloppy at first. That's okay". Man, I needed to hear that.

Quick note: One point, two point and three point perspective don't actually have only one, two and three vanishing points. When you rotate the planes you need to start adding more vanishings points, for example if you have hills or boxes at different angles. The one/two/three actually tells you the number of axis which get projected. 1pp has 2 straights axes, 2pp has 1, 3pp has none.

The fact that you put the effort into making such engaging videos is mind blowing. I cannot sit through other tutorials because my attention span is not the best. But I can sit through your videos with no problem! Thank you

The word HEART itself is made of ART 💚💚
  • Your lessons are SO USEFUL I’m a beginner and this is the first time I see an actual helping basics tutorial. thank you.
  • For someone who wants to take prep for architecture in college, lemme tell you, drawing without a ruler is freaking hard, I can't get enough practice no matter how much I do. Edit: wow... I forgot about this comment. So, I couldn't make it to architecture. I tried, but due to some unavoidable reason, I couldn't partake in the exam. I'm currently studying medicine, which I'm not loving. Peace out✌️

  • This is incredible! The major thing I would like to see a video on is shading, I still haven’t gotten that down.
