Sat on the rocks in Flookburgh, Cumbria, near Grange Over Sands, watching a 9.4m high tide quickly cover the sand in Morecambe bay. Looking towards Morecambe and Heysham.

Morecambe bay has the 3rd highest tides in the world, with Bristol Channel second, and Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia, Canada taking top spot.

    Wow very impressive. Good thing I've now witnessed this. I wouldn't want to be stranded in that not knowing what could happen in minutes. Great shot.
