I think if Hallmark Movie Studio Productions really cared about sending a positive message, they would've added a 30 minute scene of the male lead actor lying in the fetal position on his bathroom floor, crying, sobbing, weeping, and screaming out "SPITTING FISH! SPITTING FISH! SPITTING FISH! SPITTING FISH!" in between bouts of incoherent muttering.
