HOLY CRAP GUYS... I finally made it to Baghdad - the wild capital city of Iraq! It's a place that I've been dreaming of visiting for 5 years now, and I was luckily able to pick up the visa at the Iraqi embassy in Istanbul a few weeks ago.
In the first episode of this 9-part series, I document the stressful, yet exhilarating experience of getting into Baghdad with my fellow 'every country' buddy Alvaro (www.instagram.com/wanderreds/). Hats off to iraqi people for being so kind & friendly & moving on with normal life, considering what they went through... they suffered for years & years.
