We know that the powers at be could care less about our well-being. So, what's with the hype of staying at home that day, many institutions will close down and they are also suggesting to keep extra food among others things. I'm wondering how it would serve them better for people to stay out of the way. Maybe they are planning a FF and don't need witnesses, video of whatever it is that they'll do? On a different note, I agree with your observation regarding the glasses. The first generation of night vision goggles was red and supposedly caused those wearing them to see flying creatures, creating many issues.
