Red light jumping, RLJ, cyclist stopped by police on London's busy Oxford street. Good job! He had just casually breezed through several red lights. I hope they can reflect and learn a lesson. Red light means stop.

Spent a weekend in central London in November, and I lost count of the number of pricks - sorry - cyclists that I saw doing this, as well as having total disregard for pedestrians on zebra crossings.
  • Top man for saying goood job !! Need to know !!! Don’t run lights I see ten a day

Back in the 1960s the one-wat street from the Euston Rd to the West End, name escapes me just now. But the lights were linked so if you were stopped at the first one and then drove at 28 mph you would clear the lot. The boy racers would rear away get stopped at the next for maybe 30 secs and they'd tear off again. I wonder if Oxford St are linked.

Wow a cyclist have consideration for others and the police doing their. Job , all in one clip

I assume the van further down was to catch the ones that failed to stop for the police officer at the lights.
  • You didn’t mention the cyclist turning right on to Oxford St when it clearly states no right turn…

Well,in Londen they are lacking behind the international trend to produce bike lanes. So those bikers have to do such things to get trough the traffic on a "safely" way.If they want a example to do it better, look at Amsterdam!!The amount off car traffic has come down a whole lot.People prefer to go on a bike, because they get to their destination a lot faster than with a car!And cheaper!
  • I like to see motorist getting pulled for close passes also not once have I seen it happen

If these morons could be stopped all the time, relations between cyclists and motorists (I'm both) would be greatly improved, although obviously many arrogant car drivers also need to be caught too. I really disagree with this hierarchy of vulnerability as regards giving pedestrians & cyclists priority at junctions. It leads to confusion for all concerned as to what is going to happen and so many have misinterpreted it as meaning they have complete freedom (saw a video of a woman with headphones on, texting on her phone and walking straight out into traffic without looking, against a red pedestrian light) that there are bound to be accidents. Really, the more vulnerable you are, the more you should be looking out for yourself, not assuming that you are in vulnerable.

You also ran a red light, by progressing past the stop line whilst the light was red at 0:55

Cyclists cry to be given the same rights on the roads as motor vehicles, yet they still ride through red lights! 🤡 Deserve what's coming to them.

Yet another self entitled cyclist who think's he is above the law.

0:38 in, what offences? About £10.3K of offences just for the illegal motorbike, with 18-20 points, and the motorbike crushed. On top, you can see he's reading his mobile so he can hit the button to get the job. That's driving without due care, so another £2,500 and points

Not condoning drivers who pass too close to cyclists at all but how come many cyclists seem to be quite happy to get close to vehicles when it suits them ?
