Google goes inside The Pivot playbook to talk everything podcasting from creating one, to sustaining success in a saturated space and how to turn a passion into a business.

Zuri Godfrey, Brand Marketing Manager from Google met Ryan, Channing and Fred in Austin at the Afro Tech Conference while they spoke on a panel and invited them to sit down for a conversation talking all things in the podcast space, advertising, guests, attracting target audience and overall success of the platform.

This is a great conversation for someone looking to understand the business, starting a podcast or trying to monetize and learn the ins and outs of ads and how they work in podcast formats on YouTube.

They are speaking FACTS...as a single mom over 50 of 3 men LOL I first saw a clip of PiVot a little over a year ago and I was so moved by the clip I shared it with my 'boys' in our group chat. They laughed at me and told me they have been watching and following the PiVot...😂 I was late to the party but I'm here now! I appreciate, respect and love these intelligent indelible black men ❤ Them and mine 😊

The best Super Bowl ad is the one where Marshawn knocked the football off the cake, and the room went crazy, NFL greats

  • I make a good wage at UPS and have absolutely 0 interest in podcasting but I genuinely love the show! So I watched this one and whatever other episodes I can whenever I can. As a “free” subscriber I can attest to the great content from day 1!!!

Enjoyed being educated on how to start a podcast and the areas to be aware of. Freddy T deserves his flowers as was very on point on the business aspects. He ensured we all knew what is what. Quietest I’ve heard Ryan be for a long time. Was great to hear Channing being serious. Great show guys looking forward to the developments in 2024
  • Zuri and team…great job bruh! Seen your post on LinkedIn but did not know you were actually sponsoring the episode! Keep leading!
  • I've been watching them since the beginning. Channing and Fred made the best move.
  • I have never been a chaser of celebrities. The podcast has allowed us to get to know the people you guys are. That's why I appreciate the human side of your product. We love it because we can relate.
  • The Pivot is an organic podcast. These men touch their guests hearts which in turn touches the audience’s hearts. There is a brotherhood that they can talk, agree to disagree conversations. Three men with no egos. I’m a white woman and I can say they touch my heart and mind. I really enjoy listening to Ryan, Fred, and Chan.
  • Love how they show love and respect to the producer and the entire crew.

I have maybe watched one football game in my life. The Pivot is my go to podcast because of how you touch on universal themes. There is always something for me to learn and I appreciate that. Thank you for the great consistent work you all do.
