When we started the project, the weather was nice, but it took a long time to complete and we didn't make it before the snowfall, so we only did one test. In spring, we will try to record a separate video where we will test the machine more thoroughly and on larger trunks.
The axle comes from a small children's ATV, the wheels and rims also come from an ATV, but a little bigger. The electric motor is from a wheelchair.
The shield has a diameter of 360 mm.
Gasoline engine 15 HP.

You can make a handheld version that works very well for chipping away small stumps-even into the ground, also removing brush in overgrown areas as well as edging overgrown pavement. You convert a handheld "edger" like a Redmax brand (they usually have a 1:3 gear ratio head-32cc engine is good) You then fashion a metal gaurd and a custom mount for a carbide tooth table saw blade. It works fantastic for many property cleanup purposes. I used one professionally for just those purposes for 10 years and only went through a few blades-they are exceedingly durable

Beautiful job. One suggestion... You might add a structural bracket to your L section and the Square Stock. I believe the weld on the L section where the cutting wheel is may eventually give you some design trouble due to vibration while cutting. I do not believe it would have to be significantly robust, but enough to give you some insurance to prevent a failure on that 90 degree corner directly behind the cutter.

Extra machina zbudowana jak czołg,masywna. Na wieki. Ale wydaje mi się że jeden pasek do napędu ostrzy to chyba mało, ale ogólnie extra temat. Pozdrawiam 😜😜😜😜

That is a really nice looking machine youve built there. Ive always wanted to build one of these. Fun to build things that are just crazy overkill. Not a lot of youtubers get compliments from me ill admit. You got it figured out though.
