Growing up in Brazil and watching Mr bean with my friends, we never felt like he was a foreign character. The physical comedy was always universal and we didn't even need dubbing or subtitles to enjoy. In this video we can see that, when Mr Bean HAS to talk for the bit to work, Rowan can also perform wonderfully. Shows the genius of it.

😅Oh my god! It's so amazing that when she says at 14:55 that she was surprised he "didn't take the time to take pictures of his food" I suddenly remembered there has been a time in human history when doing that was still scorned!
