It's been more than two years since the Russian and Chinese presidents used those words 'no limts' to describe the bilateral relations between them and their nations. Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to touch down in China, his first trip abroad since since the start of his fifth presidential term last week.

Leaders from Europe and the US will be watching and listening. They've already called out Beijing for supporting Moscow in its invasion of Ukraine. But is this an arrangement borne out of principles or posturing?

It's rather peculiar that DW would be nosey about the Russia-China relations, while still not able to figure out who the freaking culprit is that blew up the Nord Stream 2 pipeline that used to transport very inexpensive natural gas from Russia to Germany, that supports the entire Germany's industry.

Russia is not isolated in Africa, South America, Middle East, some countries in Asia and Europe. A country not having diplomatic or economic relations with the EU and NATO does not mean they are isolated there are plenty of countries around the world.

Regardless how many times DW repeat the same statement, the relation between Russia and China is far more on equal terms than that of EU and the US, especially between that of German and the US.
