➡ ABOUT ME
My name is Crosby and I'm a solo traveler, digital nomad, and full-time traveler! After a few corporate jobs throughout college, I quickly realized that the 9-5 lifestyle wasn’t for me. So in 2019, I took the leap into the freelance world and started traveling the world full-time – from solo traveling Mexico to road tripping Portugal to living in a travel trailer, I'm absolutely addicted to this lifestyle. I just finished up traveling solo around Indonesia and documenting everything here on YouTube!

Be sure to subscribe and follow me on Instagram for daily updates! Thanks so much for watching!

Chicago is easily one of the top ten greatest cities in the world. I've lived in 20 great cities but by far Chicago tops them all. Oprah was correct when she said if Chicago winters weren't so tough everyone would want to live here. Personally I don't mind the winters but if you've never experienced snow then you might be too delicate for the Windy City, especially in February.

One detail about Chicago that even locals miss out on: Chicago has a large number of tiny museums covering incredibly obscure topics.

Chicago HANDS DOWN has the BEST SKYLINE of any major city in the US and possibly the World and how you miss the Buckingham fountain you were a 5 minute walk from Millenium Park

13:39 As a Chicagoan, I got a good laugh seeing y’all running to catch the train. That’s tooo relatable😂😂 y’all official now. Definitely come back and tour the museums! If you manage to be here during jazz, blues, or gospel festival seasons, it’s a real treat! Glad you had a great tim

A few years ago, I went on midtour leave from my deployment, I really didn't have anywhere to go so I bought a ticket to Chicago and just hung out for two weeks. I loved the city so much I ended up moving here after the military. I have been here for about two years now and I still love this city so much. I live in the Old Town/Gold Coast area not too far fromt that FoxTrots at 12:34. I definitely think this will be home for quite some time. I glad you all had a good time in the city, it is truly one of the most beautiful cities in America.

Not so much crime as people say on the media eh? Yea, it’s an agenda folks! As a Chicago native, Chicago like any city has bad parts which anyone smart enough would know to not go there. It doesn’t mean Chicago is entirely bad, so don’t be fooled by media! It’s a lovely city, which deep rich history! Our food is amazing, the lakefront, the view, it’s amazing!

I grew up in a suburb 45 min from Chicago it really was and is a beautiful city to be in! I have nothing but fond memories of Chicago fest, Cubs games and swimming in Lake Michigan during the hot summers!
  • I love it when people travel to Chicago, IL, my home away from home.. Glad you guys enjoyed it
  • @hcarpam1
Love the big cities. Chicago is so beautiful with the water and parks.
  • @Poet1952
Yup, Chicago is architecture city. Next time you go, book a tour of the Frank Lloyd Wright houses. He was the greatest architect in the U.S. and built a lot in Chicago.
  • I love your reaction to Chicago. I've been here 35 years and Many things you saw still excite me. the skyline from the field museum is the best.
  • How can you spend 3 days in Chicago and miss the Art Institute, one of the greatest art museums in the world? It is like going to Paris and not visiting Le Louvre... I spent a few years in Chicago, and the highlight for me (beside meeting my future wife) was the cultural life, in particular music. Jazz, Blues, Classical, Opera, the Ravinia festival in the summer, it is the place where to live if you are a music fan.

Two tips for your next trip back. Take the Architecture Cruise out of Navy Pier. You get a good view and history lesson of the city. And go to the top of the John Hancock building for dinner or a cocktail at the Signature Room for a great view of the city.
  • @JDoors
You loved Lincoln Park, the zoo, lakefront, bike paths, beaches, etc. Imagine how lucky I was to grow up with Lincoln Park as my backyard! Glad you had a good time.
  • @foxesamu
So glad you loved it. I grew up in the burbs and have lived in the city for almost 6 years now. The fear mongering on the news is crazy, especially when you see what the city is really like. There are rich and poor areas, there’s segregation, and there’s mismanagement, but it’s a pretty amazing city overall. Gives you 90% of the NYC experience for 50% of the price. Plus the lakefront!!
  • Chicago is so beautiful in the summer. The riverwalk is my favorite part. Also the chicago suburbs are nice too (oakbrook, naperville, etc)

Many years ago, I was in the left field bleachers of Wrigley Field with some friends when a guy a couple of rows in front of us lit up a joint and was promptly arrested by an undercover cop. The crowd booed the cop and accused him of impersonating a Cubs fan.
