What you realise more about the boys, they were happy in the glade. Guys like Albie and Gally were happy being the big fish in the small pond. It's why Albie, once the maze was totally mapped, hadn't made more effort to find alternative escape routes or tell anyone else bar a couple of people that the maze was inescapable. Even Minho seems oddly at ease with it. It's an interesting psychological question, like in Flatland. This is their entire world and they seem happy and content with it. Thomas and Theresa are the only one who is desperate to escape and it shows.
  • In the books, the maze makes a lot more sense. (The movie has some serious logical mistakes) In the books: 1) They were programmed not to be able to climb the walls and to think that it is impossible. 2) Ben, the runner, wasn't banished because he was stung, he was banished because he attacked another glade member. (Stung people get the serum to heal them). 3) People after beeing stung didn't turned into supersoldier who could hold up grievers, they turned into more aggressive people. 4) They decided to build houses, bc they already had searched every corner of the maze for an exit, mapped every change and found the pattern. 5) Minho left, before Thomas tied Alby up. The grievers chase Thomas through the vines after that. 6) So many other stuff, I can't even list it all.
  • After watching this movie myself, the best way to beat this movie is by being the main character himself.
  • Cinema Summary: “this guy is unreliable because he’s willing to throw us under the bus.” Also Cinema Summary: throws everybody under the bus
  • EDIT: guYS PLEASE ITS A JOKE How to beat: "I'd sacrifice EVERYONE to save myself" Minho: leaves Thomas and Alby to save himself How to beat: "How DARE he???"
  • As someone who got lost in a corn maze as a little child, this is how it felt like, no escape, but I was found by my teacher and cried my face off for a couple seconds, afterwards we got to pick baby pumpkins, swim in corn, eat snacks, ride a tractor, and take pictures near a giant tree! Also the scarecrow scared me a lot, it was watching me.

“Min ho isn’t trustworthy, that’s a serious risk” “I would simply sacrifice them all to save myself”

Cinema summary when he realizes that we need the people for survival: “Years of academy training, WASTED!”
  • Really got to commend the writing behind the story. Kids without their memories are trapped in a normally unbeatable maze and one of their biggest enemies are what lies within the maze. Turns out the monsters are the answers to each of their problems, but of course can only be acquired through risk.
  • I love how you make the thumbnails look so much different from the actual story, ngl it caught my attention, I’m watching this, and then hunger games, those are literally my favorite books in the world.

"We need to find why certain people are immune to this pathogen so we put them in a maze and killed them with monsters. We didn't learn anything but it made for a pretty neat YA novel."
  • @Robofo2011
love how he is explaining how to beat the maze but if we go into the maze we lose our memories lol
  • I liked all the maze runner movies but this one is my favourite for the fact that it seems the most horrifying being trapped in a maze and your only way out is through that maze which is filled with terrifying creatures which can turn you into monsters basically I also really like the book

In the book they actually tried lowering someone down the elevator shaft but he was cut in half with built in blades hidden in the shaft.

I'm loving that the narrator seemingly puts no importance on social cohesiveness to survive and instead just wants everyone else to die except for him
  • The Gladers aren’t banished for getting stung. They are banished for hurting others. Minho is following Albie’s rules+ the two are close friends.
