Tomb Raider The Dagger Of Xian is an action-adventure platform game developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive. It was released in 1997 for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation as part of the Tomb Raider series and the sequel to the 1996 video game Tomb Raider. It was ported to Mac OS in 1998 and an expansion pack,It is remake fan version of Tomb Raider 2 Remake
The gameplay of Tomb Raider II builds upon the basic set up of the original game. Innovations in Tomb Raider II include new weapons, extra moves, and a set of vehicles. The crystal saving feature on the PlayStation version was eliminated, and instead the player may save at any time like in the PC version, save for a few special locations.
Lara can climb both horizontally and vertically[6] and perform a mid-air roll used to land facing in the opposite direction. The range of weapons has been expanded to include a harpoon gun,[7] a grenade launcher, an M16 rifle (which requires Lara to assume an aiming stance to fire), and automatic pistols, which replace the magnums from Tomb Raider. The inventory includes pyrotechnic flares, which are used to light up dark corners.[8] The two vehicles are a motorboat in Venice and a snowmobile in Tibet. Both are used to travel long distances across the map and can speed up on ramps or run over enemies.

This is honestly how I remember seeing Anniversary as a kid, I miss the old games where is was all about just exploring, and soaking in the ambience of a location that hasn't been touched by human life in hundreds/thousands of years. I liked the new trilogy, but I would give that up in a heartbeat for a new tr game like this

This is incredible. This is why I enjoy remakes. Tomb Raider 2 was my favorite Tomb Raider game back in the day, and seeing even part of it remade this well makes me want the full game. It was a great game and deserves to a full remake.

This is what I like about old tomb Raider games the gameplay is so soothing it's like meditation, whereas new tomb Raider games are more fast paced , action based, old tomb Raider game soundtracks are also very meditative, With reboot the tomb Raider games lost its meditative value.

Now THIS is TOMB RAIDER!!! These people need to take over the franchise and the creators of TR now… need to take HARD NOTES on how to maintain the integrity of a franchise and character while creating something familiar, fresh and new all at the same time. Beautiful work, beautiful game… this was my favorite game and I hope that you guys finish it!!!

I always loved the methodology or concept of this Tomb Raider. I could spend hours playing and looking for a way to pass the screens. It has nothing to do with current games and it is a real pleasure to see that there are those who understood it the same way. Very good work! If the game comes out I will be happy to buy it without a doubt

This brings back memories of my younger brother and I playing this game together, literally as one. Both of us using the same keyboard at once to play/control Lara Croft; one would do the movements and the other the, shooting etc. Amazing times.

Portugal here, and i don't need to say what has already been said on the comments, so just gonna say this: This, is a Remake!!!!!!! When something is done by "FANS" and not by companys that become greedy, either by changes in the owners or some other reason, imediatelly we see the difference, like i know this is a Fan made, but even if this was the first time seeing this video, just by the camera and character angle and the way it moves, the graphics and quality is way better, but the game is the same, you can see Tomb Raider II here, this is so good.

I cannot tell you how much I LOVE this!! Oh my goodness.. what I wouldn't give to have the first 4 Tomb Raiders given a beautiful makeover like this. Nothing against the new Tomb Raider games but this will always be THE definitive version of Lara to me. The look, the teal tank top, boots & dual pistols is so iconic.

This game was actually also a part of my childhood of Tomb Raider, I remember playing this remake right after Underworld and I have always thought that it was an official game. This looks so stunning for a fanmade game and I can't believe I found it again, thank you!

I've play my first Tomb Raider 1 on PSone in '96. And still in love with Tomb Raider. This remake is that what I've called Tomb Raider. I love this remake so much!
