My best friend has Heterochromia - and he has the rarest kind - one blue and one brown eye. He also can remember every single thing that has happened in his life, right down to the conversation and date and time. I, on the other hand, can listen to a song in a foreign language, that I don’t know or speak and can be singing it perfectly by the end of the week.
  • A word of CAUTION ... (19:47-20:01) to those who can bend their joints backwards (thumbs) or overextend their joints...it may not cause you to feel pain at all while you're young or even middle age, it IS doing damage. If you can do these things you very possibly have a Connective-Tissue Issue. You may have one the the 13 forms of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Other than showing your doctor, try to refrain from doing it much. I used to 'put on shows' for the neighbors' kids w/all the cool things I could do. Now I'm mostly bed-ridden (and have been for several years) and I haven't reached 70 yet. Take care of them joints!!

I AM one of the people who thinks cilantro tastes awful. My friends all loved it so much in a Mexican dish that I could not understand why I thought it tasted so bad. A soap taste!? Yes! Now, I understand.

I'm calling BS on the scissors. I'm a righty but broke my right wrist a couple of years ago, so had to use my left. The issue with scissors is not dexterity. I didn't realize (though my left-handed friends have been trying to tell me for years) that scissors really are made for right-handed people. It's not just the finger holes. The motion of the thumb and fingers naturally pulls the blades together so the blades rub against each other. A lefty, with the same motion, will cause the blades to separate, and not cut (as well).

This was one of the best videos I've seen from this channel! Useful, fascinating, educational, eye-opening, as well as, new & somewhat surprising! I was surprised at how much of this I've never heard,& didn't know before! This was, in my opinion, a stellar video! Thank you, Bright Side! ❤

My dad could move both ears and one at a time. Kept me amused as a child.

Hey! Just discovered I can move one of my ears. Have always been able to flare my nostrils - didn't realize not everyone can do this

Awesome video!! I have something called color memory. I can look at a color and remember it later, which serves me well because I work with fabric a lot.

Human body is really interesting, defienitily hands and legs what we use everyday and everysecond in our lifetime, sometimes i've forgot how much I use my hands. 😮
  • I have (blue/teal/green) heterochromia and that fourth cone in my eyes, write right handed and sign ASL left handed and chew on both sides. I can also bend my fingers and thumb backwards, and touch my wrist with my thumb due to hEDS. The body is indeed a strange and wonderful thing.

When I get hiccups, I take a deep breath and hold it until my diaphragm stops spasming. It works.
  • @erikas974
I was forced to learn with right hand but the computer mouse just does not want to work with the righthand. Also I can write (my sister too) with both hand each way means 3 different way. I never thought that was unusual. I feel now special😊 thank you for all this interesting information. Where is the info about the hand of the begining of the video and what does it mean?
  • @sgringo
"A woman sneezed over 1 million times in 976 days." Man... I'll bet she had the best six pack ever.
  • @RusteGail
Me who thought everyone could flare their nostrils on command I'm special!!
