Watched your video and followed your recommendation. Went with the chair plus baby set (no tray or cushion) so Baby could eat at the table with us. The first day we put Baby in the Tripp Trapp and Baby gave us the biggest smile!! Baby was so happy to sit at the table with us at eye level. That alone was worth every single penny!

A more affordable duplicate of this is the Kinderkraft Livy with Calmee attachment. It’s got all the same stuff, looks more modern and it’s cheaper. Even cheaper if you get it without the Calmee attachment. But it’s worth it if you have a smaller baby, I personally chose it because it can become a bouncer

When my children were born almost 30 years ago I wished I had this high chair. I had another chair which was gifted by the grandparents so I had to use that. I'm happy that it still exists and is recommended. The chair itself hasn't changed. It only has a few more extras. In my country (germany) it is well known for so many years and I wonder if it is the same in other countries.

Hi Emma, didn't you mention somewhere that you also had a budget friendly version of this chair? I would love to know some alternatives.
  • This high chair is sooo expensive but after watching this video and looking into it, I must now have it!

We found one second hand and can't wait to start using it! The only downside seems to be that our table is a little too high for our baby to reach, so we may need to buy the tray for an eye-watering 60 euros.

We have one, got it when our LO was 3 months because the newborn seat meant she could watch us in the kitchen. We didn't get it with the tray so she could eat at the table with us. Although the chair is pricey it is extremely useful as it grows with them. Only negative is how heavy it is, you can't move around the house easily but we love it.

Ordered mine today with the complete baby set! Can't wait to receive it !! For something as important as proper posture during meal time - especially with baby led weaning, I think it is definitely worth the money.
  • Another great informative video Emma! I have this high chair and it supports my little 6month old perfectly because it is so adaptive. Can’t wait for your next video!

Hello Emma, a related question on the side - should strollers have footrest as well?
  • @tomcha1234
Stoke is great and we are planning to buy it, but the cost is so high. 259€ for the chair (usable only from like 5 year old 59€ for plastic "seat" for 6+ month old, 49€ for baby cushion (not sure if necessary 49€ for harness 49€ for normal cushion that is cca 465€ for a chair you can finally use from 6 month to adult. if you want it from 0+, you will need to buy newborn set for 129€, that means 594€ total.

Sorry for commenting on an old video but I was just wondering what your thoughts are on the kmart tripp trap knockoff? It scored quite well with Choice and looks to have similar features. Thanks :)

Hi Emma, this video was super informative! What are your thoughts on the Bugaboo Giraffe high chair?
  • @vwright4792
Going to order mine! I love your videos and energy. I wish you could be my baby’s OT! ❤
  • @sodalith18
My friends took the high chair regularly to other room, for example to the kitchen so the Baby could watch her cooking. The Baby looved being close to her mom and high enough to look whats going on above
  • @calmen11
Hi Emma love your video..could you please talk about Mocka Original/ Soho highchair as an alternative of Stokke? Do you think they have the same benefits? Can we fit the Stokke seat set in Mocka? Thank you
  • @nicolasmasset
