  • The first "you weren't supposed to get here you know" easter egg has to be the most entertaining one in GTA's history :)
  • @MetalArrow
Easter egg: Sometimes when you steal a taxi, the driver will say "Are you talkin' to me!?" Reference to Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver 1976

On GTA3 on Chatterbox, a woman calls and talks about her boyfriend who doesn't talk and who always "hangs out with the guys", Was she talking about the main character of GTA3?

The cone on the head of the statue is not to reference the fact the people were "coneheads". That's one of the many Scottish easter eggs the designers put in - it's referencing the Duke of Wellington statue in Glasgow that notoriously always has a cone on it's head to the point that it's considered tradition. The local council claimed it was costing £10,000 a year to constantly remove the traffic cones and put forward a bid to increase the height of the statue, which was shot down by the public lol.

The cone on the statue's head is referring to the duke of wellington statue in Glasgow that always has a traffic cone on its head. Rockstar is originally from Scotland.
  • I used to play GTA3 so much when it came out. I still have the cd and case and booklet.
  • @jacket2425
You forgot one easter egg.On the radio station lips 106 you can sometimes hear the gta 1 theme song
  • Keep that in mind that you can control the suspensions of the Yardie Lobo with NUM6-NUM9-NUM4-NUM5 (up,down, left and right). So the lowriders were found in GTA3,and made better in GTA San Andreas.

I love this game. Reminds me of happier days of my life when I was young & free from responsibilities, & could just go around blowing shit up & basically do whatever I wanted. Ah, memories.
  • @Canma890
I'm proud to say that I found 90 percent of this easter eggs on my own back in the PS2 days....i simply love this game.
  • @merritt2014
I always thought it was weird how Claude's character model looked a lot better than Tommy's in Vice City. Tommy's running animation was always really off and he had a weird square shape to him.
  • I used to play this game for HOURS UPON HOURS as a kid. Just driving around, listening to the radio, shooting people. OMG. Good times..☺️
