Supplies:
Beeswax (I purchased at Michaels but you can buy online as well)
Coconut Oil (you can find at any grocery store)
Vitamin E Oil
Peppermint Oil (or any scented essential oil)
Lipstick or Crayons for color
Plastic pots (I purchased at Michaels in the jewelry section but you can find online in different shapes and sizes, options below)

Recipe:
4Tbs Beeswax
4Tbs Coconut Oil
1Tsp Vitamin E Oil (optional)
6-8 drops Peppermint (or an flavor oil) for scent
*this makes about 6-8 lip balms...you can use any 1:1 ratio of wax to oil to make smaller or larger amounts

Tips:
If you don’t want to use the microwave a double boiler works as well. Just place your (heat safe) measuring glass in a pan filled with almost boiling water and stir until ingredients are all melted. Add Vitamin E oil and essential oils at the end so that they don’t evaporate.

If you are re-using your old EOS container add any leftover EOS balm in the mixture and it will have an even silkier texture.

This recipe makes a firm balm so use less beeswax if you want to make a lip gloss

If u don't have coconut oil you can use olive oil. Here is a recipe: 2 tsp beeswax 5 tsp olive oil Optional old lipstick to color it Flavour( vanilla, lemon....) Vitamins if u want Put the beeswax and the olive oil in a bowl, after put some lipstick , vitamins and a little bit of flavour(three drops). Put the bowl in a pan with hot water, mix and let them to melt. After put them in the EOS container and your done!

  • Brooke you blew my mind with this DIY! I had no idea you could refill those EOS containers so easily. I'm so happy I saw this and can use up my scrap lipsticks into lip balms now. Maybe a DIY makeup removing wipe, or just any of your own beauty/makeup application tips and tricks. I'd love to see your's, Meg's and Elle's favorite makeup products and why they make the cut. Wonderful as always, and Lincoln's always adorable, love hearing him talk at the end.
