On the second one she really lets those words get to her for a few seconds but then tries to laugh it off and change the subject.
  • the pretending not to care not breaking eye contact is the biggest give away
  • when she prepares to say 'You think I'm pretty?', its almost as if she swallows down any sadness she had for a moment

Look at how in the one where she's pretending not to care she side glance to someone like she's checking for approval from the group and the micro expressions of anger that leak through, where the other one she doesn't even meet his eyes, she even rolls her's, her shoulders are light and head up high, she really doesn't care. It's sooo good, she's amazing, love it!!!🤩
  • The easiest identifier between the two is the one who doesn’t care keeps their head held high. They aren’t belittled by you, they see themselves as better because they know the way you see them won’t change them. Someone who does care hangs their head a little lower, because they’re truly taking in every word you say, allowing it to affect them. Maybe an eye roll to make it less obvious, but it’s still there.

the way the second one lightly gulps before speaking- I can't. she's too good
  • The one on the left has her head tilted up and her eyes moving down to look at the person that’s yelling at her, saying that she feels more superior and really just doesn’t care. Plus her expression seems almost lazed meaning she’s probably not even listening very well. However, the one on the right has their head stilled, straight (sometimes looking down), and only ever moves now and then as she looks around uncomfortably and her expression aloof. You can see the harsher the words get, the more she begins to look frustrated with her furrowed brows and her lips curving down into some kind of frown. You can tell she’s focusing a lot on the conversation with how much she’s absolutely staring down at the person yelling at her. I don’t know why I typed this but yeah that’s my takeaway :)
  • "You think im pretty?" Most innocent thing ive heard all day😂

the 1st one looks like they are barely paying attention showing that they dont care but the second one rlly takes the words in and listens u can tell by her face shes hurt your acting is amazingggg

last time I was this early, Ariana still had some tears left to cry.
  • You can tell in her stare that those words hurt her. The glint in her eyes, and the curve in her mouth shows it, too.

The left was exactly how a former toxic friend of mine reacted when I said pretty much exactly what was said in the audio. She was terrible towards our entire group, and I had enough. But she didn’t care. Not one bit. It hurt, but god am I happy to be out of that. You captured that demeanour of not caring one bit for others perfectly.

As someone with a condition that makes reading social cues/subtleties difficult for me, I really wish this trend existed when I was growing up. You're helping a very niche subset of the ND community and you don't even know it. For that, I thank you.
  • @jessicatz
I really really love the subtle expressions you make while acting! You don't over exaggerate but you don't underperform ❤️ I'm interested in acting / directing and I really enjoy watching your videos (I even binge watched all your shorts 😅) hope you'll have more views and traction soon cause you deserve it!! 🥰
  • @BrainofQuinn
These shorts are so smart to make, you want to rewatch it twice so you can see the acting of each side, which makes reels boost up for have over 100% watch time. Also very good acting and examples.
