For studying, working, relaxing, or just being awesome:)

You enter a mysterious crawlspace behind a bookshelf in the study of Wayne Manor. Following the dark corridor, you come to an old victorian lift. It clangs and squeaks as you descend down into a massive cavern beneath the earth. The sound of a distant waterfall echoes in the distance. As the lift slows to a halt, you peer into the darkness. From the faint moonlight gleaming through the chamber you see a towering black structure emerge, rising upwards from the flowing pools below. You have entered the home of the Dark Knight.

Oh and please, don't mind the bats.

Through action,a man becomes a hero. Through death,a hero becomes a legend. Through time,a legend becomes a Myth. And by learning from the Myth,a man takes action.

Just the piano itself at the start is already a darn good reason to give this one a like

As a man, I'm flesh and blood. I can be ignored, I can be destroyed; but as a symbol...as a symbol I can be incorruptible, I can be everlasting.

Here we are, almost 10 years after the release of the final movie of TDKT & people are STILL making amazing compilations from this trilogy. Just goes to show you how incredible this trilogy truly was. For me, this was & will forever remain the definitive Batman/Bruce Wayne story. For me, Christian Bale will forever be the definitive Batman/Bruce Wayne.

"Anger does not change the fact that your father failed to act"
  • Batman: A hero can be anyone. Even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a young boy's shoulders to let him know that the world hadn't ended. β€”The Dark Knight Rises (2012)

The Dark Knight Trilogy will be remembered as one of the greatest trilogies ever, just like Back To The Future or The Lord Of The Rings, and this always makes me happy.
  • This trilogy has been one of the most inspirational things in my life. "A hero can be anyone, even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat on a young boy's shoulders to let him know that the world hadn't ended."... Words to live by.

I had a "bad trip" yesterday that resulted in the worst panic attack of my life last night. This just so happened to be in my downloads today, and my god, I can't tell you how much the music and dialogue here is helping me cope with it all. Thank you.

2:50 : Rachel: You could die, at least tell me your name... Batman: It's not who I am underneath but what I DO that defines me. Rachel: Bruce...? Bruce: Dives

Last year I visited Lower Wacker Drive in Chicago (where the Joker chase was filmed). Late at night, I rolled down the windows, and blasted "I'm Not a Hero" as I drove along miles of the tunnels. It was one of the most epic, satisfying moments of all 2020. Maybe even of my life.

"So now you're trying to set me up with a jewel thief?" "At this rate, I'd set you up with a chimpanzee, if it meant getting you back out there!"

43:20 you know this is the best soundtrack you will ever hear Mesmerizing Astonishing Tremendous Powerful Out of this world
  • These compositions carried me through so much life-shattering moments and unbearable pain that while listening to them I felt like Batman myself. Truly a testament to Hans Zimmer's immense talent.
