That's exactly what I was looking for, Garret. Another vote for follow up guitar series videos! Let's model this baby from start to finish!

I love your content and very much appreciate you sharing/ The audio is VERY difficult to make out even with studio monitors in my office, but I managed. Thank you very much!

I thoroughly enjoyed this video and it helped me so much. I 3d printed a guitar in my class and since my rhino skills were so limited it was just a telecaster with no contours. This will make the next one way better. Do you think you could make another video showing how to properly design the neck pocket, pickup cavities, tremolo cavity, and electronics cavity?

Awesome video. Upload more rhino tutorials please
  • 13:19 The easiest part is were I got issues haha. The curves seems smooth to me but Rhino don't think the same way and make weird things with the fillet in one of the parts of the arm bevel. It's always my big problem. I can make small fillets but rarely big enough to be happy with the result.
  • 0:30 In fact it's the opposite. Use the less points possible that makes the shape you want. It will be easier to edit, and you're working with nurbs so it's not like polygons, less points = smoother curves.

Hey, thank you for the great tutorial. How can we make the neck do you have any video suggestions? :)
  • Very helpful video. On the belly cut, I’m able to get up to the point where you trim. However, when I trim, it won’t let me select the body. The body is a closed solid polysurface. I can use a sphere or ellipsoid to subtract from the body, but not the loft. I’m completely new to Rhino (just purchased today!). Any idea what might be causing this? Thanks in advance!
  • Garret, could you make me a 3D digital file of a Carvin (or Kiesel) V220 guitar body (set up for Floyd Rose Trem), just from a photo of one found online? I shop said they could custom make me one if I provided them with the CNC digital files. I used to have a Carvin V220 purchased for $300. Now, the new ones are over $2000! Looking for an alternative... Thanks for your time.

Great video but I'm having a problem with the belly curve. Whatever you are doing when you project onto the guitar isn't working for me so I'm stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
