🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 England, one of the world's richest nations. But not everyone gets to enjoy the benefits of being born here. Just 60 miles from the bright lights of London is Jaywick which is statistically the most deprived town in the nation. I visited with my friends ‪@BackpackerBen‬ and ‪@TimmyKarter‬ for a weekend by the beach. Join us!

Thanks to the staff at the Black Rock restaurant in Clacton who looked after us and the great people of Clacton and J

I’m super impressed with how quickly you’ve picked up the language

it's as if he's among his own people, quite frightening how quickly this man adapts
  • @amossutandi
It looks rough, the people look rough, the girls look rough, the children look rough. But they all are surprisingly friendly.

You have the talent to speak to people in a way that makes them feel at ease in an instant.
  • You paid for my auntie's meal!! I showed my dad the video yesterday and then he showed it to my auntie today and she said you paid for the whole thing! What a small world! Thank you 🥰

As a fellow brit it’s actually genuinely refreshing and interesting seeing Bald giving the UK the bald and bankrupt treatment. Love him pointing out the little quirky things that people who have never been there before might not know about.

As a kid I used to holiday every year in Jaywick in the 70s-80s, you wouldn’t believe how lovely it was - best beaches in the UK with friendly people

Your tours of Britain break my heart. All the places you go are where I spent many if my childhood holidays. Plus you are such a genuine guy, cheers

As an American who has never been to the UK, the random UK videos are just as interesting as all the other videos. Thanks for mixing it up.

Bald's unheralded skill is his ability to say a quick goodbye and sound more sincere than anyone you've ever met.

I've been watching your videos for ever now brother. I literally fall asleep to these vids. I see myself wherever you are. It takes me away from my daily problems and worries. Your content helped me through tough times. I hope to travel with you some day bro. Much love from Tucson AZ.

Ben helping that senior lady off the train and calling her “Babuska” immediately brought back Ben’s travels throughout soviet Russia….btw, a great series if your new to Ben’s channel….

Good luck in England. Probably the most dangerous, primitive, hostile place Bald has been yet. Glad to see him learning the language and dialect so fast!
  • @Shogun-C
This could be the start of an important series. I hope you visit more areas of the UK to show the less often seen side of British life.

Made my night. The funniest program I have seen for ages.
  • @S-ki7mz
He left London in peak times - hence the price. Go after 9:30 it's about £12.
  • How brilliant is Bald?! He travels all over the world and films humble homes to share with viewers worldwide. Then he goes back to England, films the average town folk and shows the world that people are pretty much all the same. Cheers Ben!

It's amazing how after dozens of videos around the world, the UK really is just like any other Russian provincial town, but more expensive.

The same weather and spirit like in Northern Germany or many parts of Eastern Germany. That's what I like about England, it's true to the bone. Really authentic.
