Todd Friedman wanted to start his own farm sanctuary, so he was touring a potential property. There, he found an abandoned piglet! He adopted the piglet and named him Arthur, and now the two of them are best friends!

You can help the team at Arthur's Acres Animal Sanctuary care for more animals by donating: thedo.do/helparthur. You can keep up with Todd and Arthur on Instagram: thedo.do/arthursacres.

Pigs are so misunderstood they are beautiful, very intelligent and super affectionate

He's crying just talking about him, that's pure love!

People that are kind to animals are the ones the world needs.

I had the privilege of visiting this sanctuary a few months back. The pigs are happy, healthy, and as big as cars. This man has went over and beyond the moon for his pigs and chickens. If you measured this man by his heart, it overflows with love, compassion, and dedication to giving them everything they could possibly want or need. He saved them and in return, they actually saved him and gave him a sense of purpose. I hope to be as selfless as him.

"At 50 years old, I found my purpose." So great to hear and so touching! I hope I will be able to say the same one day!

Pigs are very smart. Arthur knew this guy was looking out for him.

"At 50 years old I found my purpose." That means there's hope for me too!! This was beautiful!

Pigs are very affectionate, so are cows. I remember

Aw gawd, his floppy lil' ears and his heart-shaped snout are just too much.

Arthur's Acres does such an amazing job in rescuing so many pigs. It is unfortunate they are mainly considered a food and research commodity. 😢 They have the intelligence of a 4-year-old child, form lasting bonds and friendships and are truly gentle animals. The display of emotion was very evident by Arthur and Don in this video. Live and Let live. Thank you again to the great work and compassion of Arthur's Acres in rescuing and rehabbing these pigs.

First of all, that guy doesn't look anywhere near his age, and those pigs are so cute!
  • @ImOk...
I’m pretty sure the previous owner should be legally prosecuted with animal neglect. Thank goodness for this man who has a heart.

I wished all the pigs got the same love and care. They're highly intelligent, funny, caring animals subjected to the worse abuse imaginable. My heart breaks for them. Thank God we have ppl like this. 💗🐷
  • "I saved his life, but he saved mine". You are so blessed to be able to have a sanctuary. I used to always want a dog sanctuary, now I want a pig and cow sanctuary.

You can tell in Todd's voice how emotional this was for him and how much of an impact Arthur made on him. I'm so happy he found that farm and was able to bring him back to live a happy life forever, not trapped in a pen alone. <3

We got a Juliana pig as a rescue and it amazed me how smart and friendly she is. I couldn’t imagine not having our “little” pig now, she’s a part of our family.

“We’re playing the potbellies next week” LOL!!!
