When I saw the video title, I initially thought it was Josh Revell’s video 😂
-
He's like a rough defender in football: You want him fighting for your team, but you'd hate to play against him.
-
Why are we acting like K.Mag is acting alone. He's obviously being told by his team leadership to make some of the on track moves he's making. They share some small amount of blame for his penalties.
-
2 weeks later, he destroys perez in monaco

this just aged very very well after monaco '24

Bro’s doing a hell of a job for Haas. Making sure Hulkenberg gets points, whatever the cost
-
The problem with overtakes in F1 created a nasty side effect. This sport doesn't value an eager defender. Before Magnussen the last driver known for this was Trulli and it was almost two decades ago. There's also Alonso, but he can do literally everything.
-
Magnussen was always cheeky, to say the least. Remember Alonso’s comment a few years ago? “What i see from Magnussen, I never saw in my life”.
-
If K Mag is driving this way because he is being instructed to by his team, it doesn’t make sense to drop him for doing so.
-
What peiple does not seem to talk about is how many times just this season he has made sure that cameras has been on haas and their sponsors. Often more than any top team during races. That itself is an insane achievement as a midfield team driver.
-
Hes not dangerous. Hes dane-gerous 😂
-
Gene realized this tactic works for points, Hulk the better of the two gets into points zone, Mag plays defensive rear guard.
-
Kevin is just ready to play the game. In the current F1 climate where points are only available when Lance does Lance things or when one of the top teams DNF. While Kevin has been aggressive, it's not because it's how he drives but rather what he has to do. The issue is not with him but the rues and points system.
-
here's a bright idea: if you change the point system to give points to drivers lower down the grid then it won't make sense to drive like this in the first place
-
F1 "experts" on Instgram and Youtube continue to get clicks throwin Kevin under the bus while World Chanpions like Lewis call it good racing. Ill leave it there.
-
What if Kevin's career IS being a Defender? Not every driver is hired to chase the Championship. Some are hired to defend the Champion contender. This entire video gets the context all wrong. Kevin's job is to defend Nico so the team can score points. That's it. That's his job. Kevin is left tackle to Nico's quarterback. In the right context, it all makes sense.
-
The amount of people saying that he's "doing what he has to do" because of how the rules etc work, are clearly ignoring the 19 other drivers driving with the exact same rules who don't "have to" drive like that
-
Magnussen is going to school Bearman, like he did with Schumacher. Hulkenberg is only outperforming in Qualifying, where in the Race - the points are mostly earned by Magnussen team mentality. You missed the fact that Hulkenberg cut the chicane and cut off Magnussen from the DRS train, which with their higher top speed; could have very likely resulted in both cars scoring points instead of the mess you wanna blame Magnussen for. Listen to drivers if you wanna form an opinion on what is too much, don't listen to some random team principal who never even did karting. What you and other wannabe F1 experts should focus on, is addressing the root cause of why this is going on and not just that Magnussen right now is making it more visible - the cars are too big and the tracks are not made for these cars nor promoting some actual good racing.

Magnussen : doing some illegal manuver* FIA : 5 seconds penalty for Ocon
