  • scary, i always try to work as close to my home as possible.
  • It happens at the high speed trains station. No olympian or official were travelling by train to the opening ceremony. It went on as planned

Olympics might be the singular event for making a big statement in 2024.
  • I love how people are bringing religion into this. It's just an unhinged arsonist. Nothing biblical or prophesied at all.

You couldn't pay me to be in Paris at this time. Be safe everyone.
  • France is not going to be able to handle this, with any grit!
  • Bet it had nothing to do with all the brownies protesting insteading of actually fighting something they seem to care so much about... (all the sarcasm implied)

Everywhere the Olympics has ever gone they have left an economic disaster Lake Placid NY is a good example. A motel room before the Olympics cost 30 dollars and you could get a hamburger for 1 dollar It was a tiny town with poor people Now, the same motel room cost 500 dollars and no hot water, and all the restaurants are minimum 100 dollar plate charge. No one can afford to live there and the only people who visit there are the 1% I had to fix a C-band 2-way satellite uplink system at a home up there that belongs to a famous singer. She only spends 1 weekend a year up there. 5 million dollar estate. That's the people who can afford to eat in Lake Placid and the food is actually horrible. The best thing I could find in Lake Placid was the hamburger at the motel restaurant. 50 dollars plus mandatory 40% gratuity and 10% state tax. And people are in there and they all have millions of dollars and look no different from me. The Olympics destroyed that whole region of NY State

Normal day in France again, tourism is great, unless there’s a strike the day you visit. There’s even a website I think that tells you when the next strikes will come.

Was this one attack ? 1 spot on the tracks ? Multiple spots on the line ? Were train cars burned ? Were locomotives burned? As far as I know, the trains in Europe are all electric. If this was a group, a terrorist organization, they would hit the power lines, not burn the trains or the tracks If you burn a couple trains or a few spots on the tracks, they can fix that in 24 hours If they hit the power they would shut down the trains for days maybe weeks Did anybody take credit for this ? What statement were they trying to make ? I never liked the Olympics because everyone is using drugs, but they pretend they aren't, and it isn't about who is the best in the world. The Olympics committees pick the athletes that fit the profile they want The right family type, middle class, no problems, nothing that will reflect negatively And the officials have been caught so many times taking bribes, fixing scores, and they have been caught so many times in sex scandals with athletes and prostitution, it is a cease pool. I wouldn't go if you paid me.
  • And then there are spoiled celebs coming with their jets that pollutes the earrh even more
