This Honda CB350F Has Mud Wasp Nests in the Cylinders… Will it Run? (Sitting Since the 80s)

The Honda CB350F was an uncommon 350cc inline 4 cylinder motorcycle build from 1972-1974. It was more expensive and less torquey than the 350cc twin, but it revs past 10,000 RPM! The CB350 four cylinder has been a dream bike of mine, and we picked this one up for $250! Unfortunately, this one has been sitting behind a barn since the 1980s with no spark plugs and no carburetors, so the engine is very stuck.

  • “ Don’t scratch the cylinder wall” I think we are a lil past that lmao
  • This was my first motorcycle, the Honda 350f, same color. Rebuild the topend of the engine with it sitting in a box in the living room. I wish I had gotten rid of the wife and kept my bike 😢
  • So happy to see Charles still part of the team. On a different note, sorry about the blatant theft on your property, Isaac.

A 350 four? A bike worth restoring. Thank you for saving it from the crusher!
  • @edbcollie5094
i have a 75 CB400F, that replaced this model, that i rescued from going to the dump and revived in 07 after it was wrecked and parked in 92, and its still going strong. these bikes are absolutely invincible

Ole man Honda Said he was Most Proud of that engine of any he designed

Not a production bike, but yall should really look at videos of the RC166, one of Honda's GP bikes from the 60's. It's a inline 6, 250cc with a redline at something like 21k. The sound that engine makes is truly divine.
  • I'm an old Honda lover, and am in no way angry with anything you guys did to it. This bike was junk when you got it and not even good for parts, in my opinion. One thing you might have been able to try is mix up some 10:1 or so fuel to try run it. Thin enough to get through the carburetor, but thick enough to raise the compression. I do think congratulations is in order though. I think this is the Jankiest Cars and Cameras video to date. I loved it!

Anyone complaining about your methods of reviving this bike is no real expert or enthusiast. Keep it up.
  • I have owned Harleys, Yamahas, Kavasakis, Hodaka, Moto Beta but my all time favorite was my 1975 Honda CB400 Super Sport with in-line four actually displacing 408 cc, 6 speed transmission, and the sweet, swept 4-into-one exhaust capable of 110 mph with two passengers.

Never, ever bet against a Honda, or the Cars and Cameras crew! Nice job, guys. This little bike just earned a full restoration!
  • @jhaedtler
I had a 350 Twin. Drove it to work in the summer time. In Chicago! Put gas in it about once a month. For a small bike they did ride nice for their size!
  • @jasons4622
Had one back in 92 and ran the twisties from Escondido to el cajon every weekend. I still want another one.

I have a '72 CB350 K4 Twin - exact same colour, fully restored and now in the UK - was an original Minneapolis bike. Hondas from the 1970s are just the best bikes. Reliable, Rev Happy and Beautiful!

The ring's all being gummed beyond belief is the compression issue, this video is why we love bikes. Thack hell out of the engine abd stick some home made inlet manifolds including minicarbs and zero compression apart from oil, and she ran! I love your channel full stop.

That is just like my first bike. It was our second car right after I got married. She got the beetle to go to work. I had the bike. It was the dark green color as well! They sound wonderful!
