Jennifer Hudson - Burden Down

Still don’t understand how a beautiful song sung by an emotional, exceptional voice like this doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. Maybe it was born in the wrong decade.

This woman could sing to a tree and it would move. She gives her all in whatever song she sings. Such a wide range,
shes' amazing.

She is so underrrated only because she's not so commercial. She deserves better, she is extremely talented.

This is not the candy pop songs that we're used to hearing. This is a grown ass woman's song, talking about real pain, disappointment and frustration and it comes through in her delivery. Wow, I felt that!

This song spoke volumes in Station 19's most powerful episode. Those in my community understand this all too well.... :-(

Who else is closing their eyes and lipsynching to this pretending to have JHudd's voice? I can't be the only one!

This is a powerful song with a soulful expression of what many people feel at a visceral level, but are unable to articulate. Can't tell you how often I feel this way. "Being strong" has become so much a part of our identities ...but wouldn't it be great to lay the burden down. Whew!
