I just love that there’s now canonically a massive marble statue in the middle of the ocean

MCU fans to THANOS: perhaps I treated you too harshly
  • @RirtyDascal
I hope to see more of Druig. He seemed like a very emotionally complex character. I am curious as to why his only power in the film was interfering with human behavior when they weren’t supposed to interfere.

This movie is under appreciated, it basically provided most of the the lore for a more marvel movies to come
  • @theotakux5959
I was just surprised Arishem didn't react in anger to them preventing the emergence. It's like he respected their determination and ability enough to at least consider sparing humanity, which is cool.

Thor never returned Kingo's phone calls because in "Thor Ragnarok" Doctor Strange asked if Thor had a phone and he said, "No I don't have a phone, but you could've sent an electronic letter. It's called an email". Doctor Strange says, "uh huh. Do you have a computer?" Then Thor says, "No, what for?" Thor isn't good with technology, that's why he hasn't returned Kingo's calls.

I just love how the movie integrated REAL LIFE history into the storyline. This makes history class much more interesting lol

9:13 Along with these parallels, Makkari inspired Mercury, the God of commerce and thieves (links to how Makkari collects many historical items in the domo) and was gifted with winged feet to be faster while serving as a mediator. Also Druig would seem to link to Druids of ancient celtic mythology, with them being religious leaders and living within nature as he does.

I love the cosmic horror the Celestials evoke. They are immense on a scale that is terrifying.
  • Druig, makkari and Gilgamesh were the highlight characters for me that I wish we got more of. It was a shame to see Gilgamesh and Kro die, particularly Gilga. I really liked him.
  • I still don’t know why people didn’t like this movie . It’s different but I love all the world building and story telling.
  • @rico121988
Damn Thanos really had a reason behind his plan. Much respect
  • @TheGswifter
Druig’s speech about blind trust and how not interfering with human v human interaction was hurting him was the moment he instantly became my favorite. That speech also gave me watery eyes
  • @TheBadgerFactor
Two things: 1) Are Shang Chis 10 rings Eternals technology?? 2) The ikaris and mikari fight was dope! Like the flash fighting superman
  • @RvLicious69
I actually loved this movie. The mythology was interesting, Angelina Jolie awesome as always and Makkari's fight scenes looked epic as heck
  • @Thedeso18
The Eternals just gave the MCU a deeper meaning, an origin, and also an introduction into the darker side of marvel with blade and it was all around a good movie.
  • @vekkimheng8766
The way they portray the Celestials is - perfection! You get that grand scale and that sense of intimidation when you look at a Celestial. Now, after seeing the Celestials done right, I'm even more mad at Fox for ruining Galactus because he could have been so much more than a giant space cloud.
  • Really clever way to account for the fact that the actress playing sprite will inevitably grow up as more movies come out.
  • @RisingSun0401
I know people seemed to not like this movie but it's one of my favorite MCU films to date for the sheer balls it took to attempt a movie of this scale & the philosophical questions it makes you ask.
  • I absolutely loved Phastos mechanical fighting. It's the most amazing looking ability in the film imo.
