Now that looks like an interest e-bike with good geo.
  • Li-Ion batteries are supposed to be shipped at about ~20% charge as they are more volatile the higher their charge state is ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

You might need to get it looked at, the rear wheel seemed to keep drifting out to one side when you were in the air. ๐Ÿ˜œ
  • It's an epic bike. I was between Large and Extra Large (at 6ft2) .. and went with the L, the reach is spot on for me. Like you say it feels stable at speed yet nimble enough to throw around. I love the thing ๐Ÿ‘ (btw mine came new with 60% charge here in Europe). Your also missing the rubber charge port cover and the bottle holder bolts. Looks like the bike you've been given has been looted for bits ๐Ÿ˜† You can upgrade the charge port cover, first thing I did ๐Ÿ‘

Nice review! Can you mullet it? ๐Ÿ˜‰ I believe AUTO mode uses the whole spectrum of power ranges from ECO to TURBO and is more for commuters to maintain a constant pace. Might be good for fire road climbs. EMTB mode starts at TOUR and goes up to TURBO and is based on pedal feedback and is better suited for tech and overall trail riding. And yeah, its missing it's charging port plug/cover ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Good points on the battery....hadn't quite considered it fully like you did. As I'll be hauling a future eeb on a little caravan Camper like you were up to earlier, so being able to leave the bike stashe and safe for transit, yet recharge the battery remotely, is a nice convenience if you're on the RV road....Great review, and it's Hardline ready definitely! .....Mondraker has the best DH team - Dak, Dunne, pinkerton.....(used to race up against Dakota in a michigan dual slalom series years back, now he's podium'ing WCDH) I dig Mondraker....
  • The Mondraker Bikes are really good but coming with poor components and in the level gama is not compatible with new Sram Type T
  • @micheldommel
So the Mondraker level R; slightly lesser build with (fox 38 rythm, fox performance coil and Sram db8 brakes) for approx.. โ‚ฌ4000,- euros seems like a no brainer? I have found a new one here in Germany. Thanks!

New bike? I perhaps missed in the video if you now own it. New bike day is great, do you change often to stay in warranty?
  • @zakgould5593
You shouldโ€™ve used Steve 0 for the bike build โ€ฆ. It wouldโ€™ve been the longest Day ! ๐Ÿ˜‚
  • @zakgould5593
