At the recent Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting, there were strong calls for an oil and trade embargo against Israel following the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran. Pakistan’s Deputy PM urged the 57-member OIC to hold Israel accountable for its actions, while Iran pushed for collective action against Tel Aviv.
