The half dome 2 person tent was my first tent. It’s heavy but not bad split between two people. I’ve had it since 2015!

I have used this tent for 2 years and love it!!

We’re pretty happy with our Marmot Tungsten UL 3p. It’s not as wide, but handles two wide pads and a dog pretty well. I also like that the fly and floor are poly. It’s held up quite well.

The last Half Dome had a 1+ that I now use for winter camping. I wish we had this one in the one person. Heck, I wish we had more in store. I always recommend it to customers.

Justin....get the Double Rainbow Li from Tarptent. 👍 (review when you can....)

This really is the only 3p backpacking tent that will fit 3 wide pads.

Would love to see some of the larger tent offerings from TarpTent reviewed

I was planning to buy this tent---that is, until I read reviews of the current model. It looked like those who had earlier versions were very happy with them, but there were too many complaints about the quality of the current one.

2:58 2200kg for a tent?! That’s over 2 metric tons! You need a crane to carry that 😅

REI tents (and all REI gear for that matter) have 1 year warranties with no in-house repair or part replacement options. Compare that to other companies. That should be mentioned in every review of their gear as many people still think they have a comparable warranty to others- which they do not.
