Lana Del Rey - West Coast (Lyrics)
Down on the West coast, they got a sayin'
"If you're not drinkin', then you're not playin'"
But you've got the music
You've got the music in you, don't you?
Down on the West coast, I get this feeling like
It all could happen, that's why I'm leaving
You for the moment, you for the moment
Boy Blue, yeah, you
You're falling hard, I push away, I'm feelin' hot to the touch
You say you miss me and I wanna say I miss you so much
But something keeps me really quiet, I'm alive, I'm a lush
Your love, your love, my love
I can see my baby swinging
His Parliament's on fire and his hands are up
On the balcony and I'm singing
Ooh baby, ooh baby, I'm in love
I can see my sweet boy swaying
He's crazy y cubano como yo, la-la
On the balcony and I'm saying
Move baby, move baby, I'm in love
I'm in love (I'm in love)
I'm in love (I'm in love)
(Mic-check)
(One, two)
(Two, two)
(Get it, girl)
Down on the West coast, they got their icons
Their silver starlets, their Queens of Saigons
And you've got the music
You've got the music in you, don't you?
Down on the West coast, they love their movies
Their golden gods and Rock 'n' Roll groupies
And you've got the music
You've got the music in you, don't you?
You push it hard, I pull away, I'm feeling hotter than fire
I guess that no one ever really made me feel that much higher
Te deseo, cariño, boy, it's you I desire
Your love, your love, my love
I can see my baby swinging
His Parliament's on fire and his hands are up
On the balcony and I'm singing
Ooh baby, ooh baby, I'm in love
I can see my sweet boy swaying
He's crazy y cubano como yo, la-la
On the balcony and I'm saying
Move baby, move baby, I'm in love
I can see my baby swinging
His Parliament's on fire and his hands are up
On the balcony and I'm singing
Ooh baby, ooh baby, I'm in love
I can see my sweet boy swaying
He's crazy y cubano como yo, la-la
On the balcony and I'm saying
Move baby, move baby, I'm in love
I'm in love
I'm in love

2024 anyone?
-
The part that starts "i can see my baby swingin'" is just crazy good
-
I just "discovered" Lana del Rey. Obviously i've heard 4-5 of her most famous songs and i loved them but just now, i listened to her full albums and i'm in love. This woman is magical!! I'm a metalhead, so i never expected to love so much of her stuff.

This is the perfect song to show someone thats never heard a Lana song. My sister never listened to her music because she assumed her music was for "depressed sad girls" but she was proven wrong when I showed her this lol. Some of Lana's stuff can be sensual and sexy too, not just sad

this song it’s like wine, the older it gets, the better it gets.
-
Lana is the best female artist in this generation period.
-
The part " I'm in love' is the sound , which people feel when falling in love. It is really magic. When I listen to it , I remember this feeling all my body .
-
THIS SONG IS PERFECT-
-
west coast is severely underrated, it's one of her best and most original songs, the verses are so easy-going and light and then the chorus just washes over you and it's orgasmic <3
-
Took me 2 minutes to realize it was repeating
-
This women is perfect and her voice is so beautiful 🌹🌹🤍🤍🤍i love you lana
-

i love how majestically romantic this song is, its a perfect song to play when you are with your significant other
-

-
if Lana's music is not playing at my funeral, then im not dying
-
Having a mental breakdown at 3 am and listening to this eating sugar
-
I love how the “I can see my baby swingin” reflects Cobain’s “And I love her”. It’s like they’re having a conversation through their music
-
Ultraviolence, the best album ever came out from Lana del Rey.
