I gotta say as poor as they are, they have a sense of community and sense of purpose. These things are extremely important to being human. These are also the things that are lacking in America, at least that has been my experience.

You said 90% are muslims and 10% are indians. Fact is all are indians, its different religions. Muslims make up approximately 30% of dharavi. 60% are Hindu. 10% are of other religions including Christians.

Wow! I have never seen a living so different. It makes me feel even more thankful for what we have in America. My heart goes out to the people in India but only in these poor places.

How is the Dharavi slum different from a slum in Europe like Lunik IX in Slovakia and Canada Real Galiana in Spain? Have you been to these European slums?

A lot of Indians believe that by year 2050, India 🇮🇳 will be the global superpower economically of which GDP is expected to be the highest in the world, to eclipse that of USA and China. Even Prime Minister Modi said that. Hmmmm. 😂 But I admire the resilience of those slum dwellers who persevere to keep their lives going.
