"I don't consent to being sentenced!" Bro.. I don't think those 6 people consented to being killed..
  • @dp.2766
The judge naming all of the victims in the charges was in my opinion a class act.👍

You missed commentary on my favourite part - where she announces 12 months credit for time already served. I know she's just doing her duty, but in context of 762 years, getting 12 months credit is sublime - like salt in the wound!

“I don’t consent to being sentenced” Oh okay, you’re free to go
  • He did a good job of representing himself if by "representing himself" you mean "clearly demonstrated what kind of person he is."
  • The best bit about him representing himself, is Judge Dorrow brought up the fact that even though his defence was opaque, he used nuance arguments and objections several times. Therefore proving that he is mentally responsible, thus negating that particular defence in his inevitable appeal.

Brooks was in a rage because the woman he had been abusing since she was 14 years old, refused to take his crap any more. She was throwing him off. This loss of control over his decades long victim sent him into such a rage and made him feel so powerless - because he is a nothing - that he deliberately went and hurt as many people as he could. Because it made him feel powerful. People who are nothings, who can do nothing useful or good, nothing creative or helpful, the only thing in their capabilities is to destroy. He still feels nothing about any of it.
  • "I don't consent to being sentenced!" Wow, he found the clear loophole in the law!
  • Prison is going to be extremely hard on him. There’s no way he’s able to follow the rules of the inmates and they absolutely won’t tolerate his disrespect never mind following the rules of the prison itself
  • @Mohohoh
1 week into prison he annoys the wrong person and his 700 years will be short.

She not only threw the book at him, she threw the entire library!!

That judge absolutely endured in order to strike down an appeal. She was an angel

Watching the utter confusion on his face when he finally realised that the bullying harassment tactics he's successfully used to get what he wants his worked is glorious and the fact that the Judge and DA will live in his head rent free, the only women he hasn't been able to stop with his fists.....even more glorious.
  • God bless Judge Darrow. She made it a point to read every sentence for each victim. She spent over 2 hours reading every victim's name during the verdict. Now he is finally truly powerless. Much love to all the victims and their families. 💙💙💙💙 May you begin healing.
  • Dude proved the saying "A man who represents himself in court has a fool for a client" very true.

He’s so mad she was complimenting Erika. He hates her so much. He blames her for where he is. He’s a giant piece of trash.
  • @RangerHouston
700 years is a cake walk compared to the eternal torture in the lowest level of hell.
  • @quiltygal6981
Interesting that in all the sentences he reacted worse to the order banning him from ever having contact with Erica again. Shows what this was all about, him losing control of her.

Witnessing the book getting thrown at someone has never been this satisfying
