Few days ago, EA has shut down autolog servers for Need For Speed The Run. As a final goodbye I will be playing through the full campaign in true Tier 6 Extreme + Difficulty, where all AI cars are swapped with Tier 5/Tier 6 cars and make up time events adjusted for Tier 6. We will be following Jack Rourke's race as he starts off Stage 1 West Coast in his USA Livery Hennessey Venom GT until the next car change.

Playlist of this walkthrough which I will add as I upload each stage:
   • NFS The Run Tier 6 Extreme+ Difficult...

This is running on a heavily modified version of the game of what the game could have been if EA did not rush this game. The 60fps cutscenes are recorded separately and edited in due to game breaking issues when forcing a 30fps game into 60fps. Thanks to _mRally2 for making this playthrough possible!

Extreme was one of the most fun yet challenging difficulties I've ever played in any NFS game. Having to be so precise with your driving was exciting as hell.

I miss this game. Seriously, I do. Such a good game, even if it was rushed, my younger self loved, and still loves this game. Stories like this are something I like. But everyone has a different opinion and or taste.

A proper send off to one of my favorite games. Let me tell you, I was devastated when they announced that this game and 4 other nfs's were getting shutdown that on the very same day that the announcement came I bought a PS3, a limited edition copy of the run, and a Lan cable. And let me tell you, I haven't had that 'high' of being on edge in a LONG time. The game was so much fun to play that I started to feel.... sad. Sad that in a few short months the game will end... forever. After feeling that sadness I bought all the dlc available on ps3 and drove my ass off. I made a challenge to reach level 40 (level 35 in the end), wanted to redo extreme difficulty (never did), and complete all of the challenges (only did half of them). Most of my time spent on the game was online, because that's where I got that 'high' most of the time. The racing, INTENSE, the cars, FAST, the scenery, BEAUTIFUL. A perfect blend of what could've been more if blackbox were given more time. Seriously you should've been there, couldn't get anymore competitive anywhere else. But I knew time was running out, the 'high' couldn't last forever, so, on August 31, 2021, at 8:08 PM (EST), the servers for The Run, Shift, Shift 2, Undercover, and Carbon were all simultaneously shutdown.... It's heartbreaking to have something you love so much just disappear in a blink of an eye. I don't have a PC due to space issues, so I can't enjoy any mods or hacks in games. I wish I had one so I can try to make my own servers, to play it again, to enjoy it with other people, to let them know this is real racing. I'm hoping for future developers of need for speed titles to take a look back at what made the series what it is today. Sometimes you don't need customization to have a fun and thrilling experience, you just the pure adrenaline of racing.

I absolutely love the intro for this game Jack wakes up in a car only to realise he’s gonna get compacted and barely escapes. Hands down one of the darkest scenes in a NFS game.

Thank you for doing another playthrough of NFS The Run.

The Run is, no doubt, the best cinematic experience that has ever blessed the series. I'd love to have it back alongside the things we have today (especially in Heat).
  • I really wish this game allowed you to play through the entire story in each tier, effectively having a minimum of 6 different play throughs

Ahhh, shame about the servers - I remember completing all challenges and getting all cars just in time. (Well, last summer, but quite close to the end, in the grand scheme of things.) I was surprised that we could still have some decent fields in multiplayer. (Some wreckers, but that's kind of expected.) It had such a great atmosphere.

The 10% cut is still infuriating to me to this day

Wow your channel has really grown. I remember when it was at 70k, great stuff
  • My younger self loved this game. Car sounds, out of car levels, level designs in general.
  • @randomdynamics
Salute to your driving skills. And yes show to this world how freaking amazing this game is.
  • @vijaygarv
Thank you for another play through of this game
  • 12:50 This was funny to me at first, saying:" oh look two identical venoms, is the venom brothers" and then it hit me, from that day forward I created an entire story around this playthrough, about a community of drivers coming back to light with a bang, a big race where anyone can compete, even the mob that appears in this game with two objectives: Take out jack and win the race using a member called marcus (The final boss) and where you can bet money to say "Who will win the run" many betting on the best racer of the community, Jack "The Ripper" Rourke, now only known as jack, because he basically got the mob into racing and the community in trouble, I'd write more but my fingers are tired, maybe I'll explain my story in every stage video but idk, I plan on doing some kind of dub one day, maybe

Thank you for highlighting this gem of a game
