Despite modern Survivor’s ideology of trying to give everyone’s edit a more holistic meaning resulting in us having less villains compared to Survivor 40 and before there still have been some individuals. Since villainous figures are so few and far between nowadays I figured we should celebrate them and their legacy in this video...

"Survivor" is a popular reality television show that has been captivating audiences around the world for many years. The show's concept revolves around a group of contestants, often around 16 to 20 individuals, who are marooned in a remote and challenging location, such as an island, jungle, or desert. These contestants are usually divided into two or more tribes at the beginning of the game.

The primary goal of the show is for contestants to outwit, outplay, and outlast their fellow competitors in order to win a cash prize and the title of "Sole Survivor." The show is known for its compelling characters, dramatic twists, and strategic gameplay. Contestants often face physical hardships, interpersonal conflicts, and moral dilemmas as they navigate the challenges of the game. "Survivor" has a loyal fan base and has spawned numerous seasons, each set in a different location with its own unique challenges. It has become a cultural phenomenon and a cornerstone of the reality TV genre. The host is known as Jeff Probst and is also the lead director.

  • Shoutout to Karla from 43. While she wasn't as cutthroat and calculated as Jesse, she was willing to flip on her allies and wasn't afraid to use her emotions to manipulate them.

This video is honestly genius. Take something people on social media hate people on and turn it into a positive subject.

This list just made me sad. Compare any of these "villains" to Sandra knocking down the other tribe's shelter, Fairplay lying about his grandmother dying, Rob using his real life friendship with Lex as a bargaining chip, or Russell lying about having his dog drown in hurricane Katrina. Like, none of this even compares.
  • @fatseal9999
Aside from Shan these are just cutthroat strategic players, some of which are even portrayed overwhelming positively. I would not call these people villains at all 😭
  • @Hainaut183
I have trouble accepting people like Omar and Jesse as villains because the edit makes them too likable or at least establish some sort of moral high ground, and their power plays are justified as being par for the course in a game where you'll never earn the jury's respect without a resume. People like Fairplay, Angelina, and Russell were characters you'd love to hate, not sympathize with over their troubled backstory.

Honorable mention: Cody's barber, for convincing him that mullet would look great on TV.
  • Honestly Kenzie and Tiffany are a breath of fresh air, like Bhanu repeatedly screwed them over and made their future gameplay harder. They should be frustrated, and they’re a nice balance as a reality tv villain Like they aren’t going on misogynistic rants like Russell or Zach, they aren’t telling people to jump into a fire like Colton.
  • @StripesZB
I think the pair of Shan and Ricard were the latest villains of survivor. I don't really see anyone else getting that edit.
  • i think venus perfectly fits the villain role but is also rootable at the same time
  • @ingodube4519
I believe the last two real villains of Survivor were Shan and Deshawn, and even then they were more "anti hero" than villains themselves. But at least they brought a real antagonism to the season in comparison to some unsucessful attempts from Hai, Drea, Elie, Josh, the Ratus from 44 who were portrait as "villains" for some reason...
  • I feel bad for Bhanu. Was he great at Survivor? Not really. But outwardly hating him for getting upset for not eating for over a week, having no fire and having to vote out his tribemates are out of line.
  • @realteamwall
i think on every new era season half the cast can be considered a villain and half can be considered a hero
  • @anguspangus
It's so annoying how people watching edited reality tv show for entertainment get toxic as soon as it's not weenie hut juniors
  • @bc5163
To be frank - casting isnt very good anymore. My fave new era contestant is SYDNEY (s41). Unashamedly herself, and funny confessionals. And a REAL VILLAIN.
  • @JMaster9877
Jeff say they don't cast villains for the show saying "we're past that era of the show"
