Their venom is extremely potent, and the snake will bite almost in a chewing fashion which injects a lot of venom. The mamba's venom is both cardiotoxic and neurotoxic, which means it affects the heart and nervous system, paralyzing the muscles, which affects breathing, and It can cause the heart to have irregular heartbeats, cardiac arrest, and circulatory collapse.
