He's not shy, he's just dramatic.
These are Nissa's parents, Niko (Leafeon) and Edelweiss (Glaceon), obviously before Nissa was born and even before the hero team was formed.
Leafeon was an explorer at Küyen's (Absol) guild, but when Edel came to visit town he couldn't take his eyes off her, so he kept sneaking out training to go see her.
Well, it's not really "sneaking" if you get caught.

By the way guys, I DO know Eevees exist. But I don't wanna use it for duos because it'll be confusing. They'd look the same (at least with very little difference). So to me it's more interesting to simply use the evolution.
