Discord just got Upgraded!

Upgrades to Discord nitro include a nice free bonus. Upgrades to server management and organization. Upgrades to your account security and moderation on the platform. Upgrades to Discord's quests feature (that everyone definitely loves). And upgrades to Discord's in development Clan servers.
Just so we're clear. Some of these features are available now or soon. But a lot of these upcoming features are discord experiments. So things can and will change depending on how Discord is feeling (i have an upset tummy right now).

Yoyo gamers, the sapphire moderation bot (bot I use on my server sapph.xyz/) has an automod feature to block polls (just have it delete the poll every time it is sent). I would assume that other automod bots will follow suit until discord decides to undo their whoopsies. So if you don't like sapphire, just keep your eyes peeled on the announcement channel of your favourite moderation bot.

There's one thing that needs to be done with the polls feature. It should have it's own permission. People can spam these polls in chat and we can't stop them as mods. Even with automod.

I feel like if they made the demo features a weekly rotation, it would benefit them a lot. Like one week free HD streaming and one week free profile themes, etc.

I feel like HD streaming should be standard with normal discord. 1440 and 4k streaming as well as 60 and 120hz streaming could easily be nitro

6:05 , great time to do that. Because alot of people (including me) waited for account appeal more than two weeks and lost our accounts forever. Its not really matter if you just using discord, but when you spend more than 50$ on messenger its truly painful.

the polls are even worse, you can do them in DMs and groupchats there is also a way to do them in hidden voice channels and as NTTS mentioned, you can spam them and anymore can use them which hopefully changes soon
