it can also be conclude that the better you look, the more confidence you have = the better results you can produce. not a thing for everyone but an introvert will benefit a lot from this.

As a fashion designer whose battling severe anxiety & depression, her speech moved me to not give up on designing & reminded me of the importance of our clothing. Thank you Maria 🤍🙏🏽

This is truly great. I've just rewatched some parts of it and just realized the Notting Hill reference at 10:21. Amazing.
  • This isn’t really relevant to the video, but can we appreciate how he skin is literally GLOWING. She looks like she’s covered in gold it’s so pretty

This is great. I love that she referenced an actual study. I spend my life researching and working on new concepts buts I really wish I understood why people love fashion. I just don’t “get it”. This talk gave me a lot to think about. I would love to dive deeper into the thought and learn how I can improve my mental productivity through things such as clothing.

I have so many outfits I am saving for an event that's never coming! I'm definitely going to start wearing them because waking up today is reason enough to celebrate 🥰

So true, I love that we are using clothing pieces as reminders to be the best versions of ourselves and to more boldly embody traits we want to see in ourselves :)
  • I really admire her for the passion that comes across in this speech. This is one strong and opinionated woman. She's inspirational, no doubt about that.

This year I was reinventing myself, and the things I started with where my wardrobe and my haircut. It definitely helped me to feel more myself, be brave to stand out and gave me the impulse to change my decisions in other areas of life.💪
  • I have just graduated high school going to college this fall. I’m also an introvert myself and being told that I need to join clubs and make connections with my peers is the scariest thing ever. I’ll give fashion a try, hope it helps boost my confidence. This is very inspiring to me.
  • This was so utterly fantastic, what a concept. So inspired by this and happy that such an upbeat and joyous young person is given a platform to encourage us all to reach for a better form of ourselves.
