325hp, She’s a Beast Man.. Out of all those old Aussie Muscle Cars Love the Lx, Lh Tory Design… My first Car in ‘96’ was a 74 Red Lh, Red 253 Motor., Bought for $1400, Good Nic.. I Should never of sold It 😞

Awesome car, nice note, the staff know what they doing, and a barra will never ever sound as good no matter what anyone says!! Good stuff!! 👌🇦🇺
-
sweet ride, took me back to carb days when you pumped the throttle before turning the key.
-
Excellent looking Torana
-
Update - I've bought a 600 vacuum secondaries square bore to experiment with. It will be interesting to see if it removes the flat spot, but I don't want to upset the AFR which was excellent when dyno'd.

285rwhp is pretty healthy and remember it is pushing around a 1200kg car not a 1600kg+ late model
-
what you would expect fpr that combo, congrats on a beautiful build, great street car with plenty of poke to have fun. I can hear all the "1000HP Barra " owners laughing already but they dont own a TORANA LOL
-
Love the Tori mate! Wish I could afford one! ❤🔥🔥🔥

Carb to big is a myth , i run a reworked 1050 dominater SBC , 20mpg no flat spots , tunning carbs has advanced since the old days , air fuel gauge tune it were you drive on the Street

Fantastic car mate. Great numbers. Have to agree with the carby! I’m running a mild 318 in my Chrysler and that’s only got an Edelbrock 500 on it but it performs very well. I’ve often wondered if it would benefit from jumping up to a 600 carby? Dunno 🤷♂️

Nice car mate!

Outstanding old-school work Mark. Just a dash of the Brave New World.
-
I upgraded from a 600 to 650dp and it ran so much better that i thought I had fuel injection
-
dash is pretty cool !

Where did you get the gauges for your car? Are these from Heath with the Torana hatch?
