    Always love your work, and this is an interesting project. I have never been a fan of “patina” finish. It’s become a cliche. I prefer genuine body and paint work. I am in no way suggesting that you change your plans. Of course you should build it the way you like. I am merely sharing an opinion on a certain fad. Keep up the good work. I have no time for any projects not related to my business. You provide a bit of vicarious satisfaction for my auto interests.

    I have a 671 and Allison trans out of a fire truck and an 8V71 out of a genset. Would you want them ?

    Instead of notching the back to fit the rise in the frame, could you just put a body puck just big enough to add rear body mounts?
