I never forgot what I read some 40 years ago in a report of Amnesty International: "They call it solitary confinement. It is meant to break the spirit of the prisoner."

Social Distancing is just soft language for Isolation.

As child growing up in the 80s and a being a young teen in the early 90s and a young adult into the late 90s, gone are those days of social interactions. Gone are the days of going out with a group of friends, communing, engaging with each other, and simply enjoying each others company. With the advent of all this wireless tech, I see so many young folks these days, kids, whatnot, glued to their wireless electronic devices. With all the information you could want at the tip of your fingertips, it has made many people mindless and even more dumb.

Keep people separated and they can't band together and oppose you.

Enjoying alone time because you want to is something necessary and a human right. Being forced to stay isolated from your loved ones because "authorities" says so is simply a criminal act against humanity that I expect that, at least in History books will be rightfully condemned in the future.

The social engineers have done a fine job of salting the earth for anyone that might still want to be part of a family. It's amazing what you can do with an infinite money printer.

I mean…already was isolating myself even before all these shenanigans.

Government is TOO BIG. Community is best.

When my kids aren’t around their friends they are totally glued to whatever device to stay in touch with them. Once you get them around each other in person they argue all the time, almost like they truly don’t know how to communicate in person. This has made for some truly awkward sleepovers where we have some random kid in my living room, alone, all by themselves clicking on some device talking to the friends literally in the other room. The boys are bad, but the girls are so nasty to each other.

They want us looking and glued to our SMART phones ...

The problem is that many people nowadays connect over easy entertainment. I’ll stick to my running, motorcycle riding, and hiking.
