On May 12th 2022 I achieved 50 wonderful continuous sobriety. I had the honor and privilege of meeting this wonderful man. He took my mentor through the steps in 1959 and my mentor took me through the steps in June of 1972. In taking these steps except in April 2003 for 3 days when my wife died I was sober but in a bad place. I haven't had a bad day in alcoholics anonymous. Although I have had bad moments, but not bad days. It's a shame we don't have men or women like Mr Snyder anymore

This is great. I've been on several Came to Believe retreats and they are fantastic. Love Clarence S, he told it straight! Thank the Lord there is people like him. Like he used to say, Every alcoholic is a drunk but not every drunk is an alcoholic!
  • I was fortunate and blessed to have a "Baby " of his sponsor me in the 1990's. I never met the man but RIP.
  • So true anyone that has this program cannot be whipped. It is a way of living that guarantees success if you continue to work it.

Beautiful! Do you believe in God? What's God got to do with being an alcoholic? Everything! Do you believe in God? Well I guess I do! Good, get out of your bed and get on your knees, we're going to pray πŸ™πŸ˜‰

A simple solution. I can walk down the street and force myself to be happy.
