Former Chief Judge for the US Middle District Court of Pennsylvania John E. Jones III says he thinks Trump’s social media post about the jury “technically” violated the judge’s gag order in the hush money trial. Former federal prosecutors Jennifer Rodgers and Jeffrey Toobin and jury consultant Jill Huntley Taylor join CNN’s Anderson Cooper to discuss. #CNN #News

  • trump isn't arguing he's innocent, he's arguing he has the right to be a criminal
  • Perhaps the greatest (and most effective) ‘insult’ to Trump would be NO PRESS showing up at the courthouse. He ought not be getting so much free publicity!!!!

If you threaten a jury member it should be automatically trial by Judge. Enough of trump getting away with everything
  • If it was any of us, we'd be sitting in a cell right now. Hope the judge has the balls to hold his ass accountable!

Agreed. Stop him already! Protect the jurors and the process! How can a criminal defendant be so free to mouth off?
  • He has violated the gag order Now do something Judge Merchan the ball is in your court The world is watching

Why is a gag order even needed - Does not a a judge have authority to deal with witness and juror intimidation directly as it happens? Why all this word game and brinkmanship? Stop giving him chances - he will take them.

General John Kelly voted for Trump, and eventually became his White House Chief of Staff. And THEN, he got to know him. “The depths of his dishonesty is just astounding to me. The dishonesty, the transactional nature of every relationship, though it’s more pathetic than anything else. He is the most flawed person I have ever met in my life,” --- Marine General Kelly, Trump’s former White House Chief of Staff.
  • JUDGES for all of Trump's court proceedings: "I'm only going to warn you one... one million times more, Mr. Trump." ⚖️🤡 No Fuq'n Consequences As Usual for #DonTheCon 🇺
  • Trump said it would be 'great honor' to go to jail for violating gag order. What's the hold up? Send him for a weekend and see if he mentions it again. He's so full of it.

Why in the world is the judge dawdling about addressing Trump’s contempt of court?
