  • I met Baby in Atlanta when I was 14 years old, when Cash Money came to Atlanta for Birthday Bash. My daddy Thomas Brown was the driver for Ultra Limousine. By the way my name is Desmond Brown. I ask Cash Money, could I ride with them in the back, Juvenile said to Baby Lil One said could he ride with us Baby. Baby said come on Shawty. I'll never forget that till this day, I'm 37 years old now. Baby let me rap for them, he told me to never give up on my dreams. He said keep on working hard on rapping. Well I kind of lost that dream a little, but I'm picking it up in another kind of way. Next month, I'll be getting back on the road driving trucks, after heart surgery, and dealing with the crooked law enforcement who messed up my cdl's. So thank you Jesus that I'm still alive and thank you that I have a mother and father. Like I've been telling my mom and dad I will be rich sho nuff. I know Baby will never read this but that's okay, there's no need for him to read this, but I will make it and be a blessing to others in Jesus name Amen.

I respect how he kept everything on the downlow as he grew up. No boasting or bragging really. That’s how you keep developing and growing; you don’t exploit yourself to possible negativity.
  • This man was a genius and these people ain't just talking they're eyewitnesses
  • Why am I just now coming across this in 2021... This was a really great doc. I like how it focused on Birdman as a person and gave insight from his family and friends point of view. I understand more why he goes so hard; he literally made the life he lives... Baby needs his roses!

What a great documentary. As an African watching this from Nairobi in Kenya, it's notable to say doubt kills many dreams than failure will ever do.
  • Y'all can say what y'all want to say about stunna but he got it out of the mud foreal
